How many of you reacted the same way that I did when you heard this week’s topic?
SELF-PORTRAIT?!
*Insert moaning, groaning, squished up face of disgust, in the mirror belly fat squeezing, tummy sucking in-ing, and pointless, irritated hair fluffing*
If it’s not obvious already, I clearly come to you with loads of self-confidence. 
I’m not one of those people who constantly degrades myself. I do know my worth, I just simply don’t feel at my best.
Despite that, I chose to capture myself in true form this week:
There is nothing that I’m hiding behind in this picture (regretfully).
I didn’t edit the heck out of this picture (or abstain from this week) like I would have liked.
I’m embracing it (the best I know how).
I work from home and rarely walk out the door for anything other than the washing machine during the week. It’s just my lifestyle and while it may not be glamorous, there will be a time where I’ll want to remember where I started and where I ended up.

I have to wear a “uniform” at work, black, white and khaki dress casual clothes. I never feel pretty when I go into work every week basically wearing the same stuff. I will occasionally come home, have no where to go and put on a nice outfit because I hate being in the same stuff all the time.
What makes it nice though is that my fiance would rather me be in jeans and a hoodie with no makeup then dressed all fancy. Sometimes its nice to not have to worry about how I look.
Oh, I obviously can completely relate!
Last night Dearest and I decided to go out and have a nice dinner – much nicer than we usually splurge on and I got dressed up. It wasn’t super over-the-top, but I suddenly felt SO GOOD about myself because it was SUCH a drastic difference from what I’m used to!
